Purist Technology is a naturally occurring compound applied to the bottles, adding a layer of protection against external elements. Purist transforms silicon dioxide, one of the most fundamental elements on earth, into a flawless interior glass finish that keeps drinks pure. This natural barrier creates a hydrophobic layer, mimicking how water beads off a duck’s feathers or the lotus leaf effect. Furthermore, it ensures there’s no metallic taste or residual flavor when transitioning between beverages. The glass finish is just 60 nanometers thick – thinner than a fraction of one strand of human hair. 

The inside of the bottle may look like any other stainless bottle to the naked eye. However, because the finish acts as a smooth barrier, you will see that liquids interact with the surface differently and carbonated beverages won’t foam as much when poured into the bottle.

When cared for properly, the Purist technology will remain intact for the life of the bottle. Because the interior glass finish essentially becomes part of the bottle, it won’t delaminate, chip, or peel off.

The outer wall is made from durable 304 stainless steel, while the inner wall is made from surgical-grade, 316 stainless steel.

Purist bottles keep drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24 hours, depending on what lid style you have.

All Purist materials are lead-free along with lead-free vacuum. 

 We recommend washing all Purist bottles and tops by hand. Do not scrub interior with abrasive brush or material. To clean, simply rinse with warm water and mild detergent or use a soft cloth as needed.
